At Pobl Group, this role is best known as a Scheme Support Officer. We are looking for two Part-time (20hrs) night owls to join our Young Persons support accommodation service as a Scheme Support Officer.
Llys Awen provides 24-hour temporary supported accommodation in the Gorseinon area of Swansea for young people aged between 16 to 21 years old. The staff team specialise in providing support within a psychology informed environment. Our Scheme Support Officers enable our young people to achieve their goals and empower them to lead independent lives.

Part Time – 20 hours
Permanent Contract
Salary for this role is £12.15 P/h
Work Pattern: 3 week rolling rota 22:00 – 08:00
3 week rolling rota will include:
Week 1- Sunday and Monday
Week 2- Friday and Saturday
Week 3- Wednesday and Thursday

Your day will consist of:

- You will be responsible for Health and Safety checks along with other additional duties.
- You will be the point of contact for our clients, whether they need advice, support, guidance, or somebody to talk to at the end of the day.
Our aim is to ensure we equip these individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to live independently. This is a challenging role as this service delivers intensive support around each client’s recovery before focus is put on the housing related support and you will be faced with complex behaviours and needs, including alcohol misuse, mental health, substance misuse, anti-social behaviour and offending behaviour.

It would be desirable for the successful candidate to have a full drivers licence and access to a vehicle.
