Are you passionate about early childhood education? Do you have the leadership skills to inspire and guide a dynamic nursery team? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Room Leader to join a warm and welcoming nursery in Southport, through Teaching Personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the daily activities in the nursery room, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5.
* Create and implement engaging learning activities that support children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Supervise and support nursery staff, ensuring high standards of care and education are maintained.
* Build strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their child’s progress.
* Maintain accurate records of children’s development and achievements.
Requirements:
* Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (essential).
* Experience working in a nursery setting, with leadership or supervisory experience.
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Passionate about early years education and committed to providing the best possible start for children.
