As a Finance Business Partner your responsibilities will combine month end work whilst providing support and analysis to the operational teams across the European entity. You will support the SLT and engineers on the ground with understanding their costs and spends as well as identifying risks and opportunities for the business.

My client, who are market leaders in their high tech manufacturing space, are a circa £250 million turnover business in European that are part of a much larger £2 billion turnover global parent Group who are headquartered in the US. In the UK, they have 2 manufacturing sites with circa 850 employees. The business is very acquisitive and a lot of their success in recent years has been through acquisition.
Description
1. In this role you can expect to spend circa 60-70% of your time business partnering and the rest of your time on BAU Finance activities
2. General ledger accounting including completion of the period end close process
3. Inventory standard costing & PPV, reserve calculations/reconciliations plus reports for the corporate team
4. Revenue reserves/reconciliations
5. Provision of inputs and insights into the monthly forecasting process
6. Preparation of analysis and reporting departmental expenditure to support operational decision making, with a focus on cost control
