Sacro are proud to work in partnership with various local authorities to deliver Gender Based Violence Services. We require a Team Leader to support the Service Managers in delivering high quality services in a professional and consistent manner. Another Way is delivered in Edinburgh and FearFree is available nationally (FearFree is mainly remotely delivered).
The successful candidate should have extensive experience of working within a domestic abuse context and have in-depth knowledge of Gender-Based Violence and its impact. The successful candidate will support the Service Manager to expand the services. You will be expected to work closely with senior managers from our partner agencies to ensure that employees from both agencies are able to work collaboratively to provide the highest level of service.
The successful candidate will have line management responsibilities and will be expected to undertake Support and Supervision sessions with employees across Another Way and FearFree services contributing towards staff development and ensuring that practitioners work in a consistent and safe manner.
The successful candidate may also be asked to attend local MARACs and undertake actions agreed.
We are looking for a dynamic leader who is both a resilient and enthusiastic individual. Excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills are vital as well as an ability to engage with a broad range of individuals both in the community as well as stakeholders.
This is a busy and challenging role which involves close teamwork but gives a high level of job satisfaction.
Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) is a requirement for this post. A valid driving licence and access to a car are required for this post.
