We have an immediate need for a professional, competent, and performance-driven Commercial Manager in Watford. This will be a hybrid role.
A fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Manager to manage the successful delivery of the portfolio of works from a governance and commercial aspect.
You will be leading the Commercial team in maximizing the commercial performance of Frameworks and Projects through the implementation of the commercial strategy and targets developed by the Senior Management Team.

Your Responsibilities:
1. Control costs and effectively manage budgets.
2. Work with the SMT to develop and set annual business budgets and strategy for development and growth.
3. Ensure the team complies with all Regulations.
4. Develop and improve Commercial Policies.
5. Manage and support projects.
6. Assess and report on commercial aspects of project performance.
7. Understand the requirements of the Customers and ensure that the Project is managed commercially.
8. Effectively manage change and operational efficiency.
9. Manage relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.
10. Ensure Monthly Commercial Reports are completed accurately.
11. Assist with Business Development activities, including Framework and Bid submission packs.
Your Qualifications:
1. Appropriate qualifications and professional membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), or Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE), or significant experience in Utilities.
2. Comprehensive working knowledge of NEC contracts (ideally 3 and 4), including Options A & C.
3. Ability to drive and influence people to work to dates/programme.
4. Ability to break complex matters down and communicate concisely and effectively to the Senior Management Team (written and verbal).
5. Exceptional negotiation, leadership and communication skills, coupled with an ability to influence through others.
6. Full UK Driving licence.
