We’re looking for a Legal Secretary with a background in Residential Conveyancing to join a dynamic legal team in Edinburgh. This full-time, permanent role offers hybrid working, private healthcare, and the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
* Prepare, transcribe, and format legal documents from digital dictation
* Produce accurate and professional documentation within tight deadlines
* Handle client and third-party correspondence, including calls and emails
* Liaise with solicitors, estate agents, and lenders on behalf of the team
* Manage case files and maintain organised filing systems
* Support diary management and scheduling for solicitors and paralegals
About You
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally in conveyancing
* Strong communication and client service skills
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
* A proactive team player with great attention to detail
* Proficient in legal case management software and digital dictation tools
