We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Regional Finance Officer to join our CV Europe team and play a key role in supporting our mission across the region!

The Regional Finance Officer is responsible for supporting financial operations, budget processes and monitoring, and compliance across the European region.
Specific Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with CV policies and procedures across regional operations, specifically in budget control and financial reporting.
* Support with accounting tasks, including bank reconciliations and foreign currency transactions for the regional office.
* Assist with periodic financial reviews, including funding requests and team budget preparation.
* Support with property investment transactions.
* Assist in the preparation and submission of the VAT reports and payments.
* Evaluation and research service provider options and related costs as needed.
* Review and collate financial information, including expense reports for projects and managers/directors.
* Coordinate the asset register, ensuring accurate management of accounts payable and credit registers for all regional operations.
* Support training for the broader European team from various countries (across the various languages of the region), helping them to navigate financial tools and systems.
* Assist and support the broader team with NetSuite (our ERP system), including journal entries, intercompany transactions, and general inquiries.
* Assist Budget Holders in preparing budgets for the upcoming financial year.
* Manage the region’s month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Assist in preparing statutory annual accounts for Audits and Charity Commission filings.
* Liaise with IM Group regarding the Company Car Scheme, investment properties and general financial transactions.
* Work with external vendors to manage financial transactions related to regional operations.

Education and Experience
* Excellent command of the English language both written and spoken.
* GCSEs (Grade 4-9) in Maths and English language are essential.
* Level 4 qualification in AAT, CIMA or ACCA is highly advantageous.
* Proven experience in financial management within a European context, with a strong understanding of local regulations, accounting standards, and business practices.
* Experience working in multi-cultural teams with international organisations is advantageous.
* Familiarity with tax, accounting and reporting requirements is an advantage.

This is a full-time, office-based role working from our Solihull headquarters in the United Kingdom. We do not offer remote or part-time working and applicants must be authorised to work in the UK.
