The Company:
An exciting opportunity for a Sales Account Manager to join a reputable and established supplier to the high street retailers and grocers.
The Role:
1. Maintaining and establishing relationships.
2. Manage and understand the critical path so key deadlines are met - including technical side.
3. Identify and resolve client concerns - providing customer service at all times.
4. Maintain an awareness of trends and competitor ranges.
5. Negotiating with factories and buyers to achieve target margins.
6. Customer development meetings.
7. Manage the whole process from initial concept to completion.
8. Working with internal teams and customers.
9. Negotiation of sales/cost prices, lead times and delivery dates with retailers and factories.
10. General administration duties.
Skills Required:
1. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working within a similar Account Manager or Merchandiser/Account Manager role.
2. Must have worked within a fashion supplier - industry knowledge is essential.
3. Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels of the business and with external customers.
4. Ability to manage current accounts including leading retailers and grocers.
5. Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
6. Excellent computer skills.
