What is the opportunity?
The Client Controls team, which is part of the Chief Administration Office (CAO), is responsible for making a significant contribution to the efficient delivery of the Wealth and Investment propositions and services and for mitigating operational risk.
We play a key role in supporting the client-facing teams by triaging business risks, operating events, and emerging risks that can limit business productivity, efficiency, and overall performance. We do this via data analysis, implementation of new controls, and ongoing monitoring and education.
What will you do?
* Identify, analyse and mitigate the Operational Risk Issues across the Client Facing teams.
* Develop process enhancements and process outcomes.
* Proactively sample processes and understand the effectiveness of controls to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Design control-based solutions to drive down KRIs, including CASS breaches and Operational Events.
* Prepare for meetings, focus groups, production of meeting materials and other initiatives.
* Monitor key KRIs, Management Information and other data, as required.
* Organise and deliver targeted training for Client Facing Teams across multiple office locations, where required.
* Ensure timely delivery of expected outcomes.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
* An understanding of Risk.
* Good standard of written and spoken English, including report writing.
* Good numerical and MS Office 365 skills.
Nice-to-have
* Experience within the financial services sector, ideally within a wealth/asset management environment.
