The candidate will ideally be well organised with the ability to maintain attention to detail whilst working under pressure. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar position and be suited to working in a fast paced environment. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, and have the ability to multi-task. Use of systems and Microsoft packages will be beneficial. Working Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7.00am till 4.00pm Main Duties and Responsibilities: Issue correct PPE to all new starts entering the business Update computer system with any items issued from stores Liaise with suppliers to ensure products are available to be delivered at correct times Manage stock levels of all items both in-house and externally to ensure constant supply of all products to the business. Intake of deliveries and put away in correct storage facilities Feed production dry stores goods as required during the day Filing of all paperwork in correct files including general administration and housekeeping whilst supporting other staff / departments as required. Coordinate product changeovers to ensure products and any associated packaging changes are switched over efficiently. Manage packaging waste reporting findings to the relevant people To drive forklift to assist loading and unloading of packaging when required To report any problems regarding equipment or packaging to management Adhere to Company hygiene practices & safe food production. To comply with health & safety rules, to prevent / minimise the risk of accidents. To ensure that you comply with the Company Health and Safety policy at all times Any other reasonable duties may be assigned as deemed necessary Knowledge and Experience: -Previous experience in a fast paced food manufacturing or warehouse environment would be beneficial -Fork Lift licence may be beneficial Skills: Excellent attention to detail Able to use own initiative Excellent communication skills Self-motivated Knowledge of hygiene and food safety Able to work as part of a team Pay Rate: £12 per hour
