The Growth Company’s (GC)Education and Skills team have an exciting new opportunity for a Skills Development Tutor, working in the Residential Childcare sector, to develop and deliver continually improved training to multiple funding streams, to achieve outcomes for customers through the development of their knowledge, skills, behaviours & attitudes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Participate in events to meet targets and replenish study programme, adult, and apprenticeship caseloads.
* Manage client caseload to retain business, facilitate progression, and secure new business.
* Design and deliver curriculum, adjusting for individual needs.
* Assess work, provide feedback, and set objectives with stakeholders.
* Review progress, set targets, and achieve KPIs.
* Track progress, manage risks, and use support tools for timely achievement.
* Review stakeholder feedback to improve curriculum and engage in self-assessment.
* Support team development through quality assurance activities.
About you:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) to enhance the learner experience.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong ability to plan and organise workload efficiently.
* Effective coaching skills.
* Ability to motivate and inspire others.
* Supportive and approachable.
* Flexible and adaptable approach.
Skills Required:
* A1, D32/33, or TAQA Assessor qualification.
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Experience with OFSTED quality standards.
* 1-2 years in teaching, learning, and assessment.
* Knowledge of L4 Children, Young People, and Families Apprenticeship Standard and End Point Assessment.
* Diploma in Education and Training (or working towards it).
* Ability to create engaging learning materials.
* Proficient with digital systems and eLearning platforms.
Skills Desirable:
* Experience in delivery/assessment of L5 Diploma Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or L5. Children, Young People and Families Manager Apprenticeship Standard.
* TAQA IQA qualification (or equivalent).
