Role: Reliability Engineer Salary: £Competitive Location: Derby, DE24 8HR - Onsite Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time How will you make a difference? As a Fleet Reliability Engineer, you are responsible for providing technical expertise for all aspects of Reliability Engineering related to Wabtec Rolling Stock projects. This includes the creation, maintenance, and management of fleet-specific reliability growth plans, analysis of reliability data, and the identification of actions to ensure technical and contractual performance targets are achieved. What will your typical day look like? - Drive technical reliability analysis, reporting, and provide summaries of incident counts and data analysis for reliability and quality metrics. - Develop and implement fleet/system reliability growth plans. - Support the development and implementation of Wabtec's FRACAS/WIM Processes and Procedures. - Support technical/reliability review meetings and ensure flagged items are tracked and included in the reliability growth plan. What do we want to know about you? - Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) and Business/Management/Finance qualifications (PRINCE2 or APM). - Proven track record in fleet/technical engineering/reliability within the rail industry, specifically with modern passenger fleets. - Sound understanding of modern train systems, FRACAS, Cost Benefit Analysis, FTA methodologies, and compliance with safety and reliability requirements. - Previous experience in reliability growth models and the ability to provide technical guidance within a matrix organisation structure. - Flexible to travel to various Wabtec UK sites and customer locations, with a valid driving license.
