2455 – Platform Delivery Lead - Aberdeen
We have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled Platform Delivery Lead to join our dynamic team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will lead a small team in addition to providing operational and project support in an enterprise setting. Candidates will have previous experience of leading or supervising technical teams and will bring a passion for technology and a commitment to delivering outstanding results. This position is based in Aberdeen, working a hybrid model of 3 days per week onsite and 2 from home.
What you’ll do
* Co-ordination and allocation of operational and project activities to technical SMEs
* Delivery, quality assurance and service improvement
* Act as a focal point for escalation for the team and wider business
* Act as delegation of authority for the Platform Manager
* Serving as an internal point of escalation for technical or functional queries
* Managing incidents, requests, problems and changes in accordance with ITIL processes
* Carrying out capacity management, knowledge management and asset management in accordance with ITIL processes
* Planning and implementing changes in accordance with change management processes
* Engaging and coordinating with third-party vendors and support providers as required
What to bring
* Previous experience of supervising or leading technical teams
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with individuals up to Senior Leadership level
* Service Delivery and Service Management experience, ideally in IT
* Experience of dealing with third-party vendors and support providers
* Effective stakeholder engagement skills
* Knowledge of Information Security best practices
* Skills in root cause investigation and the ability to resolve business critical issues
* Problem solving skills
* Ability to be self-supporting and proactive
* ITIL, Six Sigma or service management and improvement framework knowledge
