Annual holidays 24 days plus bank holidays Company sick pay scheme Shopping & Leisure discounts scheme Simply Health cash back plan Credit Union Death in service benefit Electric car salary sacrifice scheme Your role includes: Day to day management of orders/projects from receipt of order through to handover to the client Liaison with engineering department for development of final manufacturing drawings Liaison with production department Liaison with field installation department Preparation of risk assessments, method statements and responsible for site teams health and safety Preparation of final documentation and certification Develop the initial scope of work for the projects, working with the client and internal production/engineering teams to clearly define the requirements, project costs and resources Coordinate the site management activities including management of construction, documentation, scheduling and management of all site visits in line with the agreed client contract requirements Proactively interface with the installation team and the client in order to manage the project and develop solutions to issues and challenges which arise Provide engineering expertise for the construction team and ensure compliance at all times with company governance guidelines Coordinate the daily operations of the construction team, including definition of the project timelines and management of project meetings Ensure delivery of project milestones by the construction team proactively addressing deficiencies/deviations, including the regular review potential overruns and the proposal/implementation of cost-effective solutions/mitigation strategies as required Ensure all project documentation, manuals and certification is managed appropriately Prepare weekly/monthly report information for the client as required Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients and key internal stakeholders to clearly understand the business processes and the short- and long-term project objectives Identify areas of best practice and contribute to activities to improve and maintain the quality and effectiveness of processes and activities across the project teams Maintain knowledge of all relevant processes and procedures to ensure appropriate compliance with any regulatory requirements Manage and control allocated budget spend for the areas of responsibilities within this role What we are looking for: Degree or equivalent qualification Experience of fume cupboards, laboratory containment devices and fume extraction systems would be preferable but not essential Experience of project management from receipt of order through to installation. Ability to lead and influence in a fast paced and collaborative environment Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills Proven ability to lead projects, motivate and manage others Can operate on the big picture as well as with detail Excellent presentation skills, with solid oral and written communication capabilities Strong technical skills using PowerPoint, Excel and Word A confident, motivated self-starter who will thrive on a high degree of autonomy Full UK driving license and ability to travel with some weeks involving multiple overnight stays
