A bit about the job:
You will be joining a recently expanded team, reporting into the Tech Shared Services Lead & supporting a specific market within the Aviva Business, whilst also working alongside various other Specialists and Analysts. Some of the duties will include:
1. Supporting the Tech Shared Services team in our Business as Usual activities
2. Promoting good security practice with our partners and third parties and supporting training and awareness activities
3. Assisting with the BAU processes including BIAs, TPISA assessments, risk management and Pen Testing.
4. Timely and accurate management findings ensuring risks have relevant remediation plans or risk acceptances
5. Continuous self-learning to keep up to date with the cyber security industry
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. Working understanding of Risk Management
2. Previous experience in a financially regulated organisation and/or experience working in IT
3. Some technical knowledge of general information security concepts, which would ideally include a basic understanding of Pen Testing framework, CIA triad, asset management and cryptography
4. A customer focus, and the ability to understand and empathise with the user needs and expectations. Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential
5. A high level of analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as attention to detail and the willingness to learn
What you’ll get for this role:
1. Starting salary between £35,000 and £38,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
2. Bonus opportunity - 8% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
