Sandwell Council’s Income and Money Advice Service is recruiting for the post of Team Lead to deliver its Home Ownership Service (Right to Buy and Leasehold Services).
Key Responsibilities:
You will be expected to assist the Team Lead of Rent Accounting and Home Ownership Services and the Operations Manager to manage, improve and develop the Rent Accounting and Home Ownership Services, ensuring our customers and partners receive a highly professional service, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and continuous performance.

Minimum Requirements:
* Educated to GCSE level, Grades A to C, must include English Language and Mathematics, or an equivalent qualification.
* An appropriate professional qualification in Management, Finance, IT would be an advantage but is not essential.
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience of working within a social housing or social housing finance environment, particularly in Leasehold Management.
* People management/supervisory and performance management skills.
* Advanced ICT skills including complex formulas, Microsoft Excel, high level data manipulation.
* Demonstrate transferable skills to create a positive, engaged and motivated workforce.
* Knowledge of Housing Management financial systems and procedures, including tenancy management and legislation.
* Driving performance excellence and continuous improvement.
* Qualitative experience on customer satisfaction and building relationships with teams, colleagues, and partners.
* Evidence of delivering against key objectives, visions, business, and improvement plans.
* Motivational and effective communication at all levels.

Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Pattern: Hybrid (a minimum of 2 days per week in the office)
