Maintenance Coordinator – Bury St Edmunds & Ingham

Established in 1954, we pride ourselves in supporting both large and small businesses. We are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Bury St Edmunds. This person will be responsible for coordinating our Maintenance function within our Bury St Edmunds branch and also for Austin Heating Services based in Ingham.
As an administrator you should be self-driven, enthusiastic, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to manage diverse workloads, organise scheduled tasks, and adapt to unexpected changes is essential. You must also be capable of working independently, effectively handling your workload, and demonstrating exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in using various office software and IT systems is required.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
* Working with the Service Manager and branch team, organising our engineering staff to ensure work is carried out in an effective and efficient manner.
* Working with the Service Manager and branch team in the planning and scheduling of service, maintenance and installation work.
* Receiving incoming telephone calls from customers placing service calls and progressing work.
* Using our Joblogic system and other operational systems to support the day-to-day service and maintenance operations of the branch.
* Procurement of equipment, services and sub-contractors to support projects and day to day service and maintenance operations. This will include placing orders with suppliers, progressing outstanding orders, overseeing delivery and checking in goods and equipment.
* Processing of work to allow the smooth operation of the branch, this includes: jobs, work reports, engineers’ timesheets, purchase orders and delivery notes.
* Identifying areas where business can be fully developed with existing customers and new opportunities for P&R in our marketplace. This may include visiting existing and potential customers to promote our service and maintenance activities.
* Production and follow up of customer quotations to support service and maintenance activities.
* Providing a timely response and exceptional levels of service to all remedial works and sales enquiries.
