Location: Chelmsford
Salary: £25,500 - £26,500 per annum (DOE) + sleep-in rates + excellent benefits
Hours: Full-time | Shifts | Sleep-ins required
At LJ Recruitment, we're proud to be working in partnership with a well-respected provider of children's residential care, currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join their warm and welcoming home supporting children with learning disabilities and complex needs.

💡 What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting children with learning disabilities and additional needs in all aspects of daily life
Promoting independence and personal development through engaging in activities and routines
Providing emotional support, structure, and consistency in line with individual care plans
Maintaining accurate records and working closely with multidisciplinary teams
Participating in shift work including sleep-ins and weekend work (on a rota basis)
🙌 What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a similar care or support role (children or adults with LD preferred)
A genuine passion for working with young people and helping them thrive
Resilience, patience, and a positive, proactive attitude
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
