Reporting to the Conference & Banqueting Manager, Conference & Banqueting Porters are individuals who make sure that a huge part of this department is always functioning.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
* To offer the highest level of guest service in all Conference & Banqueting and Food & Beverage areas, ensuring the agreed standards are achieved at all times.
* To work as part of a team, being aware of colleagues and their needs, and being flexible with working hours.
* To promote sales within the department and across the hotel.
* To ensure that the C&B areas have safe working practices and that all spillages, etc, are tended to without delay.
* To ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of your department's standard operating procedures, particularly room setups.
* To ensure guests expectations are met or exceeded, by providing hospitable service, to ensure orders are accurate and service is effective and efficient. To maintain the bar, prepare and serve drinks in the Conference & Banqueting Department.
Requirements:
* Experience working with customers
* An excellent command of the English language
* Excellent organisational skills~
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment
* Be a strong team player
* Previous hotel experience in a 3/4-star hotel property is desired but not essential
