The PRIDE Academy is a secondary special school for students with social, emotional and mental health needs in the London Borough of Hillingdon. It currently offers 110 places to pupils aged 11-19 who thrive on the varied curriculum that has an emphasis on practical skills and enrichment opportunities.
The PRIDE Academy moved into its new purpose-built school in April 2022 and will gradually expand its intake to include a Sixth Form enabling 110 pupils aged 11 to 19 to be educated on site. The new Free School offers extensive facilities including specialist science labs, well-equipped art and design and technology rooms in a bright and spacious building, as well as an indoor sports hall and an outdoor multi use games area.

The Pride Academy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Design & Technology (DT) Technician to join our dynamic team. As a DT Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality lessons, maintaining workshop equipment, preparing materials, and ensuring a safe learning environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist teachers with lesson preparation and demonstrations
* Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and resources
* Ensure a safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations
* Provide technical support to students during practical projects
