Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Business Lecturer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in business-related subjects, including but not limited to business management, marketing, economics, and entrepreneurship. You will inspire and equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the world of business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons across various business-related topics.
* Develop and update course materials, ensuring they align with current industry trends and academic standards.
* Assess students' progress through assignments, exams, and practical activities.
* Provide feedback and support to students, helping them to achieve their academic goals.
* Contribute to curriculum development and enhance the learning experience.
* Participate in departmental meetings and support the continuous improvement of the program.
* Stay current with developments in the business world and incorporate these insights into lessons.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* A Teaching qualification at Level 3.
* A minimum of a Level 3 Business qualification (preferably a degree).
* Experience teaching in Further Education (FE) on BTEC programmes, with business industry experience being ideal.
* Previous, relevant FE teaching experience delivering on BTEC courses.
* A relevant degree or equivalent industrial or professional qualification.
* Maths and English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent.
