Home-Start Edinburgh is a volunteer-led charity with over 35 years' experience working in local communities, supporting families with a child under 5 in the home. We are currently recruiting for the role of Family Support Co-ordinator. Whilst our Head Office is in Leith, the successful applicant will be required to support volunteers and families in one of Edinburgh’s four localities.
This role will be tasked with supporting families, predominantly through the network of volunteers they recruit, support and train. They will also be expected to contribute to the wider operation and further development of the scheme.
The post-holder will work with the other Family Support Co-ordinators, as well as other staff, to ensure families receive holistic, high-quality support. They will contribute to the ongoing training and development of volunteers, including delivery of the Volunteer Prep course, as well as networking with other local organisations.

We are currently recruiting a part-time Community Engagement Co-ordinator to join our team.
This role will be responsible for overseeing events and marketing for families and volunteers, and community events for the purpose of raising Home-Start Edinburgh’s profile to recruit volunteers, raise our community profile and support fundraising activity.
The post-holder will work with the team to ensure that our services are well run and of high quality. We are open to flexible working patterns, and some evening/weekend work will be required within this post.
About the Role
This vital position is your chance to lead a team of dedicated Regional Family Support Coordinators, providing professional support to families and professionals across Scotland. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to shape, develop, and deliver effective support services tailored to the needs of families. From managing a regional team to influencing local and national strategies, this role is as rewarding as it is impactful.
Role Summary
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Two years fixed term (subject to renewal where funds allow)

We provide a range of support, from individual and couples counselling, Child Contact Centres, to mediation services that can all help to support people to find their own solutions and enhance their wellbeing, mental health and happiness.

You will have excellent administrative and financial experience, be able to handle confidential information, communicate with clients and their families with care and sensitivity, as well as the ability to manage our work with local solicitors and other partners across the Scottish Borders. The Relationships Scotland Network is the largest provider of family and relationship support in the country. We offer relationship counselling, family mediation and child contact centres through a network of 21 member services across Scotland, which provide face-to-face support to around 15,000 people each year.
We are looking for a motivated and hardworking person to join our Corporate Management Team as Head of Corporate Services. The role is based in our national office in Edinburgh, and will involve a wide range of tasks including managing budgets and finances, overseeing HR processes, and being responsible for building management, including health & safety.
Although the role is office-based, we are open to discussing flexible working hours, in particular if shorter working days are needed to fit in with school hours etc. All staff work in the office on Tuesdays when possible.
