What will I be doing?
As an Assembly Mechanical Fitter, you'll be responsible for assembling and testing Airbus Single Aisle family components, maintaining high-quality standards and FOD compliance.
Work on a regularly rotating shift pattern, covering day and night shifts (including a premium shift payment of 38.5% of your salary), with occasional bridging and weekend shifts available.
What do I need?
Fitting experience from a previous role, ideally in an Aerospace or Automotive environment. We're looking for someone with:
* A completed NVQ level 3 Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship, or equivalent.
* The ability to follow technical drawings, specifications, procedures, and test instructions.
* A desire to learn and understand the basic principles of production flow lines and takt times.
* Knowledge of COSH and flow line methodologies is ideal but not essential to apply.
