The Role:
This role is for a hands on working Fabric Engineer with a good understanding of general building services and estates management. The purpose of the role is to assist the estates management team in the provision of maintenance and lifecycle services. The role will include assisting in the operation, repair and maintenance of various buildings and painting and decorating.

You’ll be responsible for:
o Perform routine fabric maintenance to meet and exceed service level agreements.
o Respond to reactive maintenance tasks promptly and efficiently.
o Assist with internal moves and changes as required by the venue.
o Undertake painting, decorating, and general DIY tasks to maintain an aesthetically pleasing and functional environment.
o Load, unload, and safely store relevant equipment, spares, and deliverie
o Assist the ASM estates team to ensure that all planned and reactive engineering activities meet and exceed both service levels and venue expectations.
o Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive, and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the estates management team.
o Ensure, where applicable, that comprehensive maintenance records are kept
o Undertake lone working when and where required, subject to satisfactory training.
o Develop a good working relationship with all members of ASM, their subcontractors, and venue staff.
o Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, including the wearing of uniform and appropriate PPE at all times
o Ensure compliance with all company and venue policies and procedures, as well as venue site policies, procedures, and working arrangements.
o Keep equipment storage areas in the venue clean and tidy daily.
o Ensure that plant rooms under the responsibility of the estates team are locked at all times and kept in a clean and orderly condition.
o Complete tasks as directed with appropriate health & safety awareness and implementation.
o Ensure the engineering team on site produce required near miss reports, dynamic risk assessments and detailed records of site activities, and ensuring any noncompliance is challenged and escalated where necessary.
o Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may re-sult in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
• Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
• Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system;
You'll have :
* Formal fabric Training
* Good verbal communication skills and good written English skills.
* Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service.
* To have a calm manner and able to work under pressure. Able to make sound decisions when needed.
• Physically fit and able to carry tools and components by hand up to 25kg.
• A team player, able to work with the ASM team and venue representatives at all levels.
• Incumbents must have a high level of energy, be self- starters, confident and stable in manner.
* Must be willing to be flexible in their working patterns.
