Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior In-Home Care professional to provide high-quality support and assistance to elderly clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise care staff while ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors, and the ability to drive to various locations as needed.
Duties
1. Visit clients in their homes promoting independence by providing personal care and light domestic duties.
2. Supervise and lead a team of caregivers, ensuring they deliver exceptional care to clients.
3. Develop and implement personalised care plans tailored to each client's needs.
4. Provide direct support in daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
5. Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
6. Conduct regular assessments of client needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the home environment.
8. Drive to clients' homes as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled visits.
Requirements
1. Full right to work in the UK without need for visa sponsor.
2. Proven experience in senior care or a related field, demonstrating strong supervisory skills.
3. NVQ, QCF level 3 or equivalent a plus for Senior Carers.
4. Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with clients and their families empathetically.
6. A valid driver's licence is essential for this role.
7. Access to car and mobile phone.
8. IT proficiency for maintaining records and communication is highly desirable.
9. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve the lives of seniors in their own homes.

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
