Job Responsibilities
* Develop a robust air freight sales pipeline across key sectors.
* Identify and pursue new air freight business opportunities through market research and proactive outreach.
* Manage enquiries, RFQs, and tenders from inception to conclusion.
* Collaborate with the Air Product team to craft customer-centric value propositions.
* Contribute to the strategic growth of our air business unit in the UK.
* Present compelling, value-adding solutions aligned with DB Schenker's standards.
* Ensure new business is in line with our internal financial guidelines.
* Develop and maintain influential relationships within potential major clients.
Qualifications
* Proven sales record in acquiring new business and exceeding sales targets.
* Significant background in Air or multi-modal freight forwarding.
* Experience in managing tenders leading to significant opportunities.
* Skilled at building trust and establishing high-quality relationships with customers.
* Demonstrates effective presentation skills and excellent written and spoken English.
