We are working with a global green energy company to hire a Commercial Contract Manager. It's a great opportunity to work as part of a growing business & would suit someone with a supply chain/procurement background.
Here's a taster of what you'll be doing:
* Identify contracting partners that can deliver high quality, commercially viable and innovative products and services.
* Negotiate supplier contracts and agree pricing, Service Levels and KPIs.
* Support the sales team to agree contracts with our key customers that contribute to the long term and strategic development of the company.
* Support the Bid Team in business development activities, liaising with consortium partners and subcontractors in support of tender preparation and documentation completion.
* Work with the Commercial Team to develop and improve processes.
What we're looking for:
A measured, engaging and highly organised individual with a strong commercial focus and a confident understanding of legal documents. The role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, to build valuable relationships with our partners and customers that centre on collaboration and trust.
Essential Experience
* Experience of negotiating commercial contracts and assuming responsibility for managing the input from external lawyers and internal commercial roles.
* Experience of procuring both goods and services.
* Experience working with JCT and NEC contracts.
