Description
We are recruiting a Team Leader to support one of our clients with Cerebral Palsy. The salary for the role is £17 per hour, depending on experience.
Are you fun, energetic and organised?
“Hi, I am a 10-year-old young lad looking for a Team Leader to manage my team – I don’t care what your age, gender or orientation is, but I would prefer someone enthusiastic that can think outside of the box to keep me busy and safe.
You should have a great sense of humour, be kind, honest, and happy to support me in getting out and about and completing my therapies. I need support with my personal care and all aspects of daily living. I use a wheelchair to get around, although I can walk small distances with support and I have my own wheelchair accessible van. I’m very active and I like all things sensory, so you must be creative and be prepared to keep up with my change of activities. I live with my family who are very important to me.
I am looking for a Team Leader to work on shift as part of my team but also to co-ordinate the rota, supervise and manage my day-to-day support, make sure I am well looked after and that the team is working together.
If you are interested in joining me, please apply.
Duties
Your duties will include coordinating the rota to ensure cover is in place at all times, ensuring the smooth running of the team and that everybody knows what they are doing. You will work on shift for the majority of your hours supporting with personal care, social and leisure activities, and rehabilitation activities, whilst also having some time to work off shift to complete the rotas and supervision of the rest of the team.
