We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about the delivery of high quality oncology services and optimising care. You will be responsible for the delivery of highly specialist Occupational Therapy interventions for both inpatients and outpatients at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre. You will be part of our fantastic OT team (5 WTE Occupational Therapists and 1.5 WTE Assistants). As a clinical specialist, you will have a lead role in the development and delivery of clinical OT service including leading on CAR-T within the Haem-oncology service. The role will include working closely with the OT team leader to support the specialist service delivery. Our main base in Liverpool was newly opened in 2020 and provides modern, excellently equipped office and clinical areas. Applicants should be HCPC registered, who can demonstrate suitable clinical experience. You will be able to adapt to change and unpredictable situations and will have excellent interpersonal, negotiation, team working, and problem solving skills.
You will be responsible for your own highly specialist CAR-T caseload and the supervision and development of junior staff and students at the trust. You will support the OT team leader in the delivery and development of clinical services.
