Education and skills required:
* Care home knowledge desirable
* NVQ2 or above preferable but not essential

Responsibilities:
* Support residents with their personal hygiene and continence needs
* Support residents with mobility and promote independence
* Use moving and handling equipment in a safe manner
* Promote good nutrition and hydration, and support residents at meal times
* Participate in meaningful and appropriate activities with residents
* Support R.N in carrying out their health and social care tasks
* Participate in staff and residents’ meetings as appropriate
* Keep all records and care plans up to date and maintain values of care at all times
* Undertake training courses, including induction training, mandatory and Skills for Care
* Undertake other duties as necessary
