Job Purpose: To develop Factair’s HPC distributorship, respond to customer enquiries, provide technical quotations and customer training. To provide support to the Sales and Service departments.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Develop the HPC KAESER compressor distributorship, quote for new equipment sales and service packages and ensure customer service agreements are maintained.
2. Respond to technical enquiries from customers.
3. Provide cost estimates, technical quotations and develop new business opportunities for Factair’s other non-HPC KAESER products.
4. Work in conjunction with the operations, design and engineering departments to assist in developing products and services that meet current standards and legislative requirements.
5. Attend weekly operations meetings.
6. Assist with the preparation of production and maintenance manuals.
7. Undertake site assessments and customer training.
8. Provide cover for members of the sales and service teams in the event of absence.
Minimum Requirements:
* Educated to level 3 NVQ / National Diploma or A level equivalent. Alternatively, successfully completed an engineering apprenticeship.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in an engineering company in a technical sales or service-based role.
* Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and concisely in both verbal and written formats.
* Familiarity with working within ISO 9001 QA controlled procedures.
