About The Role
Key Accountabilities:
1. Support and empower individuals to develop or improve independent living skills as identified in person-centred plans, including assistance with domestic or social skills and personal care.
2. Work closely with Team Leaders and managers to prepare and implement individual and group support programmes.
3. Collaborate with other Support Workers and Team Leaders to promote a safe working and living environment, effectively resolving situations arising from conflict or challenging behaviours using appropriate techniques and language.
4. Ensure that medication is stored and administered in accordance with Praxis Care’s Medication Policy where necessary.
5. Familiarize yourself with all administrative requirements of the service, ensuring relevant and important information is recorded and logged according to the service's reporting guidelines.
6. Be fully aware of all policies and procedures in place within the service (including Health & Safety), ensuring attendance and participation in all related training.
Requirements of the Role:
1. Participate in the company appraisal and staff review process.
2. Adhere to and model the company values, behaviours, and competencies at all times.
3. Carry out all duties of the post in accordance with Praxis expectations, regulations, and policies.
4. Be prepared to take on additional duties and responsibilities as required.
5. Work the necessary hours to meet the needs of the service.
6. Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of £45.00 per night applies.
The above-mentioned duties are not exhaustive, and the post holder may be required to carry out other duties as necessary. It should be noted that stated duties or locations associated with the post may change to meet the future needs of the organisation.
