As a Teacher of Health & Social Care and PSHRE, you will: Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, ensuring they develop a strong understanding of health, social care, and personal, social, health, and economic education. Encourage students to explore and reflect on important topics such as emotional well-being, relationships, health care, and personal responsibility. Use a range of teaching methods to promote active learning, critical thinking, and personal development. Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver an inclusive curriculum that caters to the diverse needs of all students. Support students’ personal growth and help them navigate challenges in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Teach Health & Social Care and PSHRE across Key Stage 3 and 4. Develop engaging, interactive lesson plans that foster independent learning and resilience. Promote students’ understanding of life skills, well-being, and the social care sector. Provide ongoing assessments and feedback to monitor students' progress. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe and encouraged to express themselves. Contribute to the development of extra-curricular activities related to health, social care, and personal development. Qualifications: A relevant degree in Health & Social Care, PSHRE, or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification. Strong subject knowledge and experience in teaching Health & Social Care and PSHRE. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A passion for developing students’ personal and social skills.
