VANRATH is delighted to have partnered with a leading data company to recruit a Business Development Executive to join their talented team.
The BDE will call previously existing or existing customers to upsell them or gain back their service; these accounts brought on will then be managed by this individual.
This role has an aimed start date for 6th January - we will be interviewing straight away.
Responsibilities:
1. Ring through existing customers to gain business.
2. Be the point of contact for a group of owned accounts.
3. Provide service to the clients as well as upselling.
4. Provide feedback to the business on any customer issues or concerns related to our products and services.
5. Meet and report on productivity and performance KPIs in a timely and accurate manner.
6. Achieve individual sales targets and strive for overperformance.
Essential Criteria:
1. 1-2+ years in sales (ideally account management).
2. Eagerness and willingness to develop knowledge of products and solutions.
3. Proficiency experience using IT packages, ideally within Salesforce.
4. Excellent Communication skills - verbal and written.
5. A can-do attitude and an enthusiasm to approach challenges.
6. Construction industry experience.
7. Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative.
8. Resilience approach to gaining buy-in from customers.
9. A warm negotiator.
10. Candidates with a Business/ IT related degree/ qualification are highly desirable.
Remuneration:
1. £25,000 - £30,000 basic wage with £50,000+ OTE + up to £10,000 extra in consistency bonuses.
2. Individual commission scheme.
