Weston College is the regional provider for the Prison Education Framework (PEF) across the South West of England and is now seeking to recruit an outstanding and highly motivated Lecturer in Induction and Distance Learning - HMP Bristol.
This is a part-time role, working 29.6 hours per week.
Day to day duties of the role
* Deliver a high-quality curriculum for Induction and Distance Learning courses, or an alternative as directed by Weston College management, including all associated teaching tasks.
* Perform organizational and administrative work.
* Prepare, assess, and mark assessments.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive course file, including scheme of learning and lesson plans.
* Enhance learning through additional projects and activities beyond the qualification delivery.
Required skills and qualifications
* A Degree or professional qualification appropriate to the work.
* Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies.
* Excellent team working, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Highly motivated with high standards for self and others.
