As a Maintenance Team Leader you'll be expected to:
1. Liaise and be a point of contact with all departments and external contractors for maintenance needs at Llanarth Court as and when required.
2. Make sure all maintenance work is carried out by collating, recording and distributing all maintenance request forms to appropriate maintenance staff.
3. Keep the maintenance manager up to date with day-to-day operations within the department and servicing issues with external contractors.
The Maintenance Team Leader will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, with the following set shift pattern every two weeks. Working hours will be 07:00 > 19:00:
Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday
Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
We are seeking a motivated, skilled individual with experience in a maintenance role, ideally within a similar environment. The successful applicant will be proactive and organised, with good people skills. The role holder will also be expected to undertake on-call duties for the maintenance department.
Llanarth Court Hospital is a 95-bedded forensic hospital providing a secure environment consisting of medium, low, and open rehabilitation settings for men and women with mental illness and/or personality disorder.
