The role will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and reliability of injection moulding equipment and processes. This role involves leading a team of Maintenance Technicians to ensure high operational efficiency, minimise downtime, and maintain safety and quality standards. You will also act as deputy to the Facilities & Sustainability Manager. Responsibilities include: Lead, mentor and develop a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement. Maintain and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations promoting a strong safety culture within the team. Required to be available for on-call duties as per operational needs, in accordance with the Working Time Directive. Assist and support the Facilities Technician and energy management projects. Key tasks: Supervise the day to day operations of the maintenance department. Plan work assignments, RAMS and PM schedules. Manage stock control and place orders when required. Gather data for TPM and drive improvements. Liaise with production to minimize stoppages. Liaise with engineering on projects. Oversee contractors, including risk assessments and CDM files Additional skills/ qualifications required: Good knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety Experience with injection moulding machines and robotics Understanding of environmental procedures 18th edition IEE regs Strong level of PC literacy and all Microsoft Office applications Good communication and team player skills Engineering degree or equivalent (desirable) Last date to apply: We are continuously accepting applications
