Spire Hartswood Hospital is looking to recruit a HS Administrator to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Engineering department, on a permanent basis. In this role you will support the Health and safety officer and ensure compliance with key safety protocols across the facility. Duties and responsibilities: Manage and Maintain the health and safety management system and associated records. Collate, review, and report on health and safety incidents, including trends and near misses Respond to and redirect health and safety queries professionally and efficiently Update and distribute local health and safety policies and arrangements Maintain the Hospital-Wide Action Plan and follow up on outstanding actions Coordinate and administer Health & Safety Training and monitor e-learning compliance Take minutes for Health & Safety meetings, including Water, Fire, and Waste Management Assist in conducting quarterly health and safety inspections across the hospital Ensure adequate induction and safety training for all new and existing staff Support audits and address health and safety inquiries from external enforcement agencies. Who were looking for: Understanding of Health & Safety and risk issues and legislation IOSH working safely/ managing safely course Previous experience of a similar role in an admin role in a customer focused organisation.
