Job Title: E-Commerce Data Analyst
Location: Manchester City centre (3 days a week onsite)
The client is a global beauty brand in the beauty / fashion sector who sell their products to over 100 countries worldwide through both online and offline sales channels. With over 2 million customers online made up of beauty technicians, MUA’s and at home consumers, their products can also be purchased in reputable retailers such as Superdrug and ASOS.
JOB OVERVIEW:
The E-Commerce Data Analyst will be responsible for growing our online market share and driving revenue growth across our D2C e-commerce site, with a specific focus on our professional customer base. Working closely with finance and marketing, they will devise strategies to support new customer acquisition whilst nurturing our existing customer base to improve retention.
OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE
* Analyse current business performance to understand the CPA of a beauty professional, their lifetime value and how many of those who complete our training courses become long term customers.
* Review the commercial data behind existing retention schemes and evaluate how we can improve brand loyalty.
* Look at monthly data to understand shopping habits and behaviour of our professional consumers so that we can make better informed decisions.
* Review segmentation of our existing web customer base and its three cohorts: MUA’s, lash technicians and home consumers.
* Work closely with the marketing team to devise the online strategy to support the growth of our professional customer base across e-mail, social (paid & organic), PPC, influencer partnerships & SEO.
* Review site customer journey and implement initiatives to boost basket value and CVR amongst other trading KPI’s.
* Monitor e-commerce trading KPI’s such as AOV, LTV, CVR & Retention rates and report frequently on trading performance.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
* 1.5 - 3 year’s experience in a similar role, preferably from the fashion or beauty industry.
* Strong data creation and data analysis skills - should be comfortable taking raw data and building reports from the ground up.
* The ability to work independently, communicate effectively and indirectly manage peers.
* Someone with experience managing multiple projects.
* Someone who is comfortable presenting to senior management.
