About the role
We have a great opportunity to join us as our Sampling Quality Co Ordinator based at Horsley, Northumberland or Hanningfield, Essex. You will be responsible for maintaining the UKAS quality systems across our Water Operations Regulatory Sampling teams.
The Successful candidate will maintain all aspects of the Water Sampling team UKAS 17025 accredited procedures.
You will work in partnership with the Operational Sampling Supervisors, coordinating the quality/H&S processes and sampling software packages for water sampling operations, ensuring that both regulatory and operational sampling programmes are collected in accordance with HSE/DWI/UKAS requirements.
You will manage and maintain sampling devices and software packages for Remote Sampler and AQC Tools.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with Key internal and external stakeholders/ suppliers including the Accreditation, Laboratory and Water Quality teams.
Based at either location there will be a requirement to travel to Horsley or Hanningfield on a regular basis usually 2-3 days per month.
About you
To be successful in this role were looking for you to have a science-based background and experience in working in a regulatory environment with demonstrable experience of working to UKAS accredited Procedures and performing root cause analysis.
Were looking for you to have good communication skills with the ability to organise own workload and prioritise, always look for improvements to ways of working.
You will be flexible and willing to support other members of the sampling team with a customer focussed approach.
Ideally you will have experience of working with laboratory or Sampling software packages such as AQCTOOLS, Coruson, Remote Sampler, Lims.
