Role
The role of New Business Account Executive within our Endsleigh team will be to meet and exceed new business targets in the education sector. This role will particularly focus on the non advised products we deliver to educational organisations such as schools or colleges. If you are new to the insurance industry, full training around products and services will be provided.
Key accountabilities will include:
1. Responsible for prospecting and securing new education partnerships such as independent schools
2. Speaking with clients and providing solutions to educational establishments over the phone/video call/ in person.
3. Attending relevant key conferences to generate new opportunities.
4. Providing accurate sales forecasts to the Client Director using pipeline reporting and CRM systems.
5. Supporting the wider team with managing relationships with key partners.
6. Working with Service and Renewals to deliver an exceptional new business customer experience.
7. To provide insurance to clients and model effective protection through the provision of appropriate insurance products.
8. Identifying opportunities for leads to other areas of B2B, providing introductions and supporting the cross-sell process.
Person
We are looking for a New Business Account Executive with experience prospecting, generating leads, developing business and winning clients.
The New Business Account Executive will also show ability to build long lasting relationships and ability to utilise new business opportunities.
The New Business Account Executive will also have the following;
9. Ability to exceed individual targets and achieve deadlines
10. Strong communication and presentation skills, both orally and visually
11. Ability to understand people and build rapport and adapt styles of communication
12. The ability to manage own diary and workload effectively and work to tight deadlines with accuracy
13. Experience of dealing with third parties with the ability to develop relationships.
14. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
15. Ability to spot and identify opportunities for cross-selling
16. Ability to use a CRM tool effectively from both an opportunity management and reporting perspective.
17. Knowledge of insurance sales gained in a Broker or Insurer environment – desirable, but not essential.
