Working in the commercial department reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing business processes and systems. As a Business Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for generating complex reports and providing insight to the Senior Leadership Team. You will also conduct research and analysis to identify solutions to business challenges and support the implementation of these systems within the organisation and for our client(s). STRICTLY NO AGENCIES PLEASE About the Role: Due to continued growth and development, we are now looking for customer focused people to join us in our Utility Division, working on our Southern Water contract service to deliver real and effective solutions to commercial and finance issues. Monitoring Contractual KPIs and reporting internally and to the client Analysing current and past trends in key performance areas with a view to monitoring performance, highlighting trends, and identifying areas of improvement Working with stakeholders with analysis of cost, productivity and performance to drive improvements Production of monthly P&L reports with analysis and commentary for submission to client Providing insightful analysis that links business performance with financial results and which ensures effective commercial and operational decisions are made Work with key stakeholders on ad hoc requests for reports and analysis as required Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them Any other reasonable ad-hoc duties, tasks or projects as requested by the Senior Commercial Manager or Senior Leadership Team So if you enjoy delivering only the best in customer service, where no two days are the same and want to join a growing company that not only values you and your ability - but also strives to develop your potential and further your career progression, then we are the right Company for you. About You: The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have the ability to organise, multitask and prioritise your workload. Good communication and interpersonal, relationship-building and networking skills are key. Studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification, or recently qualifying (e.g. CIMA/ACCA or AAT) is crucial to this role.
