Are you an Allied Health Professional/Nurse who is looking for the opportunity to develop and diversify your career, and make a significant contribution in attracting, developing, and retaining highly skilled, engaged and compassionate people who thrive to make a positive difference to patient care? If this interests you then the Learning, Education and Development Team (LEaD) would be delighted to hear from you. We are a forward thinking and progressive department that thrives on growing and developing our people. We will be keen to develop your existing skills and abilities, offering you 'stretch' opportunities to increase your expertise, further enhancing your career potential. You will have highly developed clinical, interpersonal, organisational, planning, analytical and delivery skills, the ability to build good professional relationships and networks and the ability to influence others. You will have the ability to work autonomously, make evidence based, inclusive decisions and advance relations to wider workstreams supporting the development of healthcare teams. This post is a 12-month fixed-term, maternity cover for a part-time position of 22.5 hours per week. There is the potential to work flexibly and creatively, as there are opportunities to potentially combine this role with another role, or opportunities for a secondment. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss potential work combination scenarios that will enable us to attract the right person for the role. Whilst the person specification requires a professional registration with either the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) we are particularly interested in people with a current or recently lapsed HCPC registration to complement the existing skill mix within the team. However, we will consider applications from NMC registrants. If you would like to discuss this opportunity and potential options in more detail, please contact Anna Jager in the first instance by email anna.jager@nhs.net
