Summary:
NG Bailey Facilities Services are currently recruiting for a Building Services Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join a market-leading, forward-thinking company as part of a team looking after a commercial contract based in the city centre of Nottingham at Bio City.
Provide Service Support as part of a team delivering quality service 24/7, with a requirement to be part of the out-of-hours emergency call-out team.
Key Deliverables:
* Deliver PPM relating primarily to Mechanical Building Services Plant and Systems in-line with agreed programmes/SLA's to meet Client and Statutory Compliance.
* Complete Remedial Works identified through Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive works when requested.
* Maintain premises to an exceptionally high standard.
* Ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date as this will be regularly audited by internal or external parties.
* Assist with supervision of sub-contractor works ensuring compliance and adherence to applicable H&S standards when required.
* The role is for core hours Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00 - Onsite Parking Available – Call Out is 1 in 4.
What We’re Looking For:
An experienced Mechanical Technician working to a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service.
You will hold current qualifications to include:
* NVQ Level 2-3 (Mechanical Discipline e.g. Heating and Ventilating or City and Guilds equivalent).
* Conversant with Mechanical Plant/Plumbing related Building Services PPM's carried out in-line with SFG20 and resulting Remedial Work.
* Competent working knowledge of Air Handling Units, Building Management Systems, Air Conditioning equipment, Cold Water systems, Heating and Ventilation systems, Water Treatment.
* IOSH Working/Managing Safely (Desirable).
* Safe system of Work Procedure – PTW; RAMS etc (Desirable).
