Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Field Service Technician for MCV Bus and Coach Ltd.
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for daily maintenance and service tasks for buses and coaches, troubleshooting technical issues, conducting repairs, and ensuring vehicles are in optimal working condition.
Qualifications and Key Skills
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Automotive Engineering skills
Experience in maintenance and repair of buses and coaches
Knowledge of bus and coach systems and components
Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and on-site
Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
Key areas of responsibility
~ Be the point of contact to receive customer calls and requests for assistance from customers within your designated region or area of work
~ Set visit dates / times with Customers and ensure these are achieved.
~ Work offsite fault finding and fixing faults. This may include ordering or arranging replacement parts. Returning any warranty parts along with all relevant documentation.
~ Assist when required with Company work flow in other region’s or for special Campaigns. This may require nights away and would be by mutual arrangements and plans.
~ Carry out work considered by Management to be within your skill level.
~ Work closely with MCV Management to provide the highest level of service support
~Work in accordance with all Health and Safety or Customer Requirements.
~ Complete all Company documentation in a timely manner.
OTE £40k-£50k per annum
