Senior Campaign Graphic Designer- Temp 12 months Job Description At Next we have a great opportunity for a Senior Campaign Graphic Designer to join our dynamic design team at NEXT. You will create innovative concepts for new marketing campaigns and provide work that will represent and enhance the Next Brand. You will need to ensure you are creating exceptional designs whilst maintaining brand consistency and aligning to our brand guideline principals. Working on varying seasonal campaigns, advertising concepts and marketing materials alongside the Retail and Marketing teams. Mentoring the campaign design team whilst working collaboratively with wider design teams around the business to ensure consistent and well executed outcomes. This is a temporary position for 12 months. About the role: • To guide design principals on new and original creative concepts for marketing materials. • To interpret design briefs to create original concepts demonstrating commercialism in line with the Next brand. • You will coach and help guide a team of more junior designers producing engaging visuals and designs. • To constantly review competitors and make recommendations to maintain Next’s position as market leader. • To ensure Next’s marketing continues to exceed customer expectations in terms of presentation by constantly improving the design of marketing materials. • Assessment and critique of competitor marketing activity. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet marketing requirements • Producing story boarded concepts from idealisation through to production • You will be responsible for producing pitch decks incorporating research, colour palettes, campaign name and tagline, logo and logo variations, examples of in-store graphics, animated logos, ideas for online and social media application, marketing examples and product application • You will work closely with the Head of Design and Campaign Design Manager to produce engaging visuals and concepts Business objectives • Running design projects, ensuring they’re always delivered on time whilst managing expectations across the wider campaign teams. • Coaching and mentoring a small team of designers, supporting the Campaign Design Manager in providing clear feedback and direction for the wider design team. • Contribute to building stronger brand experiences for campaigns - Ideas that resonate more powerfully - Messaging that connects more deeply. • Stay up-to-date with design industry trends and emerging technologies. Sharing them with the team to build a bank of inspiration. About you: • Experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative vision and expertise in campaign design across various channels. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, or other design tools. • Solid understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout principles, with a meticulous attention to detail. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts effectively. • Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering high-quality work on time and within budget. • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, preferably in an agency or in-house creative team. • Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
