I am excited to announce that I am currently working with a widely known and hugely successful business in the Doncaster area. With expansion across the business and future growth forecasted; they are looking for someone to assist the transactional finance team on a part-time basis.
This business is looking for a Purchase Ledger to support the finance function on a 6-month fixed term contract. You will be working within a close-knit, friendly team, supporting with all Purchase Ledger duties, reporting directly into the Transactional Finance Manager. This position is 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receiving, checking, and processing invoices.
* Preparing and processing supplier payments.
* Completing payment runs.
* Ensuring payments are made in line with credit terms.
* Reconciling supplier statements.
* Investigating and resolving any discrepancies or outstanding issues.
Skills:
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Strong numerical skills with keen attention to detail.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Effective communication when interacting with suppliers and team members.
