Position Title: M&E Commercial Manager
Location: London
Salary: £110k-£150k + package/benefits
About the Company:
We are recruiting for a leading international construction specialist known for its excellence in delivering projects across the life sciences, data centers, and logistics sectors. Our client, with a robust pipeline of work, is looking for a talented M&E Commercial Manager to become a key member of their dynamic team.
Role Overview:
As the M&E Commercial Manager, you will be tasked with overseeing the commercial management of multiple newly secured projects, ranging from £50m to £250m in value. You will ensure that all commercial operations are conducted efficiently, in line with the company's standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage all commercial functions related to M&E works on assigned projects.
2. Provide commercial support and advice to the project team.
3. Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans.
4. Conduct risk and value management.
5. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project financials.
6. Oversee contract administration and compliance.
7. Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements.
8. Monitor and manage project cash flow and expenditure.
Requirements:
9. 10-15 years of post-degree experience with a main contractor or M&E subcontractor.
10. Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle.
11. Proven experience in PSCA (Pre-Contract Service Agreement) management.
12. Solid financial and commercial acumen.
13. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
14. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
15. Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
16. Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
17. Professional membership (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is preferred but not essential.
