The role
As a Facilities Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will provide essential support as this critical role ensures the day‐to‐day operations of our business are efficient and effective.
Day-to-day, you’ll play a key role in supporting our growing project team. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing all Facilities Management change projects, BAU (contract growth) and day-to-day activities.
2. Management of Sub-contractors carrying out Statutory Compliance, Planned Preventative Maintenance and Project works.
3. Accountable for Property Management, Health and Safety, Catering and Security relating to Facilities Management.
4. Supporting FM Lead with Procurement and Delivery of projects across the estate.
5. Managing both supplier and contractor relationships.
6. Overseeing Compliance with FM sector regulations and managing contractor KPI’s.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel to our Oakhanger site on a weekly basis alongside home working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Facilities Manager
1. Experience of FM Service delivery
2. Sound knowledge of FM and H&S legislation
3. Extensive experience in the use of CAFM systems
4. Experience managing FM projects.
5. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
Qualifications for the Facilities Manager
1. Level 3 apprenticeship in relevant mechanical/electrical discipline
2. IOSH/NEBOSH
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
