Responsibilities
* Interpreting system designs and completing take-off material requirements.
* Obtaining competitive material quotes from our supplier base (direct and distributors).
* Placing orders for sub-contractors’ materials, plant, and equipment.
* Pre and post contract financial reporting including monthly reports.
* Working closely with the projects team to ensure timely delivery of all the above.
* Booking structural and electrical surveys and liaising closely with the Operations team to set up projects and assist in programme management.
* Building and maintaining relationships with our supply chain.
* Delivering cost efficiencies with all our projects.
* Updating project management software.
* Working within our ISO 9001 and 14001 systems and procedures.
* Maintaining records and reporting as per company and individual KPIs.
Qualities Required
Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role in the solar industry or a construction-related industry. Awareness of products and a base knowledge of solar would be an advantage, but training will be given.
* Proven experience of 2-4 years and a strong network in the UK energy solution space, C&I, and M&E sectors.
* Strong communication skills: able to communicate clearly and effectively at executive and director levels.
* Team-player with a desire to influence and grow professionally in a fast-moving environment.
* Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
* Strong project management capabilities: able to coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
* Used to working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
* Open to researching the market for product development and improvement.
* Prepared to take on necessary product training and proactively seek continued professional development.
* Proficiency in standard MS Office and Excel packages and able to use CRM software.

* Hybrid working with a competitive salary package of £35-40k plus bonuses based on KPIs, dependent on experience.
